But I’ve been busy and sick latley. I haven’t had a lot of time to spend on my own projects when school’s been all over me and so forth… I’m going to try again adding news and reviews, it’s just a lot of work.
If you’d like to help me with the blog and write for it, contact me on “real_c_man@hotmail.com”.

Review #2: Juju’s CG

•March 26, 2008 • 2 Comments

“CG isn’t your standard game. CG isn’t really a game. CG is a journey.”
Read those lines over and over. Build up some expectations. Sure sounds fantastic, doesn’t it? Well, I can tell you right now: It isn’t.

At the Horizon #6: Rez: Dead World

Rez: Dead World
If there’s one free game series that I really enjoy and I’d like more people to experience, it would be the Rez games created by REZ himself. The mix of adventure and platforming action will give you a special feeling for exploring more and to dig deeper into the game. ‘Rez: Dead World’ is the sequel to ‘Rez: Havocs End’, and I got an exclusive preview of the game. I’ve played the whole first chapter, and I have to say that it looks fantastic. Some animations can be a bit awkard, but it’s only a beta and about 15% done according to REZ himself, so there’s plenty of time to correct things. The writing and dialogues are excellent and fun to read without ever getting dull. I’m really looking forward to the release, and as always, you sure should too.

At the Horizon #5: Super Banana Nababa

Super Banana Nababa
The creator of ‘Goldeneye 2D’, Bisse, and the Poppenkast member Im9today team up for this feast-for-the-eye remix of the game ‘Banana Nababa’ created by lazrael. With the great looking graphics created by Im9today this is really something to keep an eye on. I can’t say if it’s fun or not since they haven’t released a demo, but it sure looks promising. For the wait the duo released a video and some screens for us to enjoy. I’ll post a link to the original game too.

Since the blog didn’t start off quite as it should have, I have edited and fixed alot on it since yesterday. New logo, new theme, new sidemenu and so forth. Now it looks pretty good in my opinion.
I’m currently working on a review that I’ll try to post today, so return later for more!

Thank you.

At the Horizon #4: Undead Rampage

Undead Rampage
The excellent spriter Rolf_Soldaat seems to be constantly working on something fresh and exciting, and this is no exception. It’s a zombie shooter set in the dark enviroment of the sewers down below. It’s retro, it’s pixly, and it looks wonderful. It’s also hard, so I would recommend it to people enjoying gory shooters with some difficulty.

At the Horizon #3: Sarax Online

Sarax Online
There’s too few good 2D online games for free out there, and so does
Tischkman Productions think. If you knew the lore about the Sarax games you would probably understand my excitement, but since the man can’t get the games done I guess no one ever will. It’s action and PvP oriented, and it’s a blast to play. You can even race against eachother. In flying machines. Awesome.

At the Horizon #2: Super Ninja Hunter

Super Ninja Hunter
Take a naked guy, give him a grappling hook, a shotgun and a castle filled with ninjas and what do you get? Total awesomeness, of course. This game isn’t only fun and gives you a giggle, it’s also brutally cute with its minimal graphics and the silly articles made in paint with minimal effort. I really hope it gets done, and you certainly should too.
